Definition Of Financial Reporting Center (frc):

Department or area of responsibility for which separate cost data must be collected for preparation of financial reports.
These reporting centers are classified generally under three groups: (1) Revenue center, (2) Support center, and (3) Other (such as those incurring fixed expenses).
